Hi. I enjoyed visiting your site. Perhaps you are some of our net community
friends could help me !
I am looking for a site on the Net that has stuff and lectures by M.Scott
Peck who wrote great books including "The Road Less Traveled",
"The Different Drum" and is the founder of the "Foundation
for Community Encouragement" . The book we have says he lives in northwestern
Connecticut. I have searched the Net with several browers put so far have
only found reference to his work on your site and one other.
Any info or hints you can suggest would be most appreciated !
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK & above all foster community growth.

Hi from Canada!!I think it is great to begin a web site for community builders.
I believe John McKnight and Jody Kretzmann may enjoy reading and being informed
about this. They are at the Northwestern University as you Know. Here in
our small office we work in the area of Asset Based Community Development.
Add our web site - htpp://commdev.caritas.ab.ca/~ccd/index.html, There is
neat stuff there you might be interested in, we have developed and operationalized
a model for "Community Capacity Building and Asset Mapping" that
takes the theory of community capacity buildig and applies it using a "Capacity
Study". Thanks!

I'm impressed! Thanks for taking the time to present this home page. I've
been associated with FCE, Community Building and Kaz Gozdz for three years
now and marvel how it continues to expand. First through the mv2spk forum
on line now this. The spirit continues to move us towards greater community
through so many medias. Keep up the great work. I look forward to spending
more time exploring these pages. Jim Knowles

We not only need to think the way that we will do things in the future but
we must examine the way we have done them in the past and use our findings
as a guide. Niigwin is currently involved in trying to develop a "Social

Very exciting! The content is very compelling and the site is easy to get
around. Heidi B. recommended I take a look and send any comments. I'm sure
you are working on visuals. Visuals and sound will really help solidify
a sense of place. No need as you probably know to create a "place metaphor"...simply
embodying your vision with the appropriate symbols and sight and sound stimuli
will really help. I'll be spending more time here and will definitely contribute
to your growing community. Until then keep up the GREAT work.Congratulations.
