Jim Rough has been a business consultant since 1971. As president of Jim Rough and Associates, he develops and teaches facilitative methods to help groups, individuals, and organizations transform. His work was featured in a 1992 Industry Week magazine cover story on The New Leadership. He presents his discoveries in the four-day seminar Dynamic Facilitation Skills for Participative Leadership.
He also speaks at numerous conferences and, for over a decade, has been a faculty member of annual Creative Problem Solving Institutes in Buffalo, N.Y. Rough has published articles on empowerment, facilitation, and systems thinking. He is developer of The Wisdom Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, a breakthrough approach to democratic systems change. His education includes a B.A., M.S., and M.B.A. degrees and many years of independent study in Jungian psychology.
